I'm the guy who wrote in that question, thank you for your answer. Heimdall was a shelter rescue who had been abused before we got him. Focusing on the good life that we gave him helps, even if it led to awkward laugh-crying while listening to the episode on a run. Here's the loveable little doofus.

Our 13 year old beagle/border collie mix loves to be outside, all weather. Snow and -5°? Thinks he's a damn huskie. 95° and 80% humidity? Wants to stand on the brick patio in direct sun panting like he's going to explode, but absolutely doesn't want to come inside.

Had a lot of amazing food in New Orleans but I think my favorite thing was mufaletta. Sadly I've been unable to find proper bread in Michigan so taking a stab at baking my own.
