I'm going to say again that the XIV community is so so SO blessed to have a producer/dev team that is passionate about the game they manage and passionate about gaming in general. If they weren't, Mare wouldn't have been the only moon that fell (so to speak). Yoshi-P essentially said-

Genuinely disappointed in the absolute hysteria that has come across some of the XIV community since the Moon fell. I get that everyone wants to express themselves but to freak out to this extent is insane. We weren't supposed to talk about using it in the first place-

I wish I was still the person I was before I decided to make social media accounts to be more involved in the 14 fandom. Sure there are some decent people but a lot of y'all are miserable and can't just enjoy anything without dissecting it 900 different ways and twisting it into something it isn't.

Yes. Both actually. Decades before ARR, Noemi was captured by Garleans and kept as an experiment. During this time she was shot, stabbed and force fed poison, among other things. She has some /augments/ that ended up working in her favor during her eventual escape and subsequent vengeful rampage.
