Trying something different this year and doing a “make ahead” bone-in turkey breast. Brined yesterday, roasted today, will be sliced and warmed back up tomorrow, with broth and an herb butter.

A Facebook memory from the first time I got a year-end screener via a link. These days I opt out of every physical mailing (except the Neon box, natch) and am in love with the year-end screener apps, which allow me to check things out on a whim, with a few button-presses.

There's nothing an AI-generated child enjoys more than waking up on Christmas morning and opening up the gift they wanted most: a National Parks advent calendar, covering the advent season that has already elapsed.
