Trying something different this year and doing a “make ahead” bone-in turkey breast. Brined yesterday, roasted today, will be sliced and warmed back up tomorrow, with broth and an herb butter.

Brian when I was a kid I owned a mostly boring board game called The Inventors which I would play with on my own anyway because it included a dice-rolling machine with a plunger and a bell. The machine also had a patent-dispensing slot. You slid a card in and the machine attached a metal patent.

Spotted this tiny book (collecting a significant RS listicle for me) on one of my shelves yesterday. At TIFF this year I had lunch with @kphipps3000.bsky.social and @timgrierson.bsky.social and Tim wowed me and Keith by reeling off the Top 20 from this list, mostly in order, from memory.
