Hello. I’m Noel, a closeted transmasc Italian guy who managed to move away from Italy in hopes of escaping my emotionally abusive family who has been making my life hell since I was born and had recently started making life even more unbearable for me. I finally found some peace and stability (albeit struggling financially) and was looking forward to finishing my degree from here. I had made arrangements with a teacher to take their exam online, but they now told me that it was actually not within my rights and left me with no choice but to fly back to Italy in June because I cannot find a job unless I have a degree, and it would absolutely shatter my life plans so far. I have a lot of expenses coming up and purchasing a flight ticket was absolutely out of the equation, so it’s put me in a dire spot. I’m genuinely freaking out because my entire future that I was slowly building here and independence from my family is on the line here. I need this degree, and I put a lot of effort to take all the remaining exams at once despite my severely fragile and horrible mental health, with zero hope to get therapy; seeing it all crumble because of this wouldn’t just be a defeat but also the reality that I have to go back to my abusive family once again. Any commission or ko-fi would help me greatly. Ciao. Sono Noel, ragazzo trans (ancora nel closet IRL) che è riuscito a trasferirsi fuori dall’Italia per scappare dalla mia famiglia emotivamente/psicologicamente abusiva che mi ha reso la vita un infermo da quando ho memoria e che ultimamente ci andava giù pesante con la violenza psicologica, gli insulti e le umiliazioni. Ho finalmente trovato un minimo di pace e stabilità (nonostante faccia ancora fatica economicamente) ed ero pronto per poter sostenere l’ultimo esame e finire la laurea anche da remoto. Mi ero messo d’accordo con l* prof per sostenere l’esame online solo per ritrovarmi ora con una mail che mi dice che non ho diritto a richiedere l’esame online e la mia unica scelta è tornare in Italia e darlo in presenza. Non posso rinunciare alla laurea perché ci contavo per trovare un lavoro full-time per cui la laurea in questo caso è richiesta. Non potermi laureare distruggerebbe qualsiasi mia speranza e i piani di vita che stavo cominciando a costruire piano piano. Ho un bel po’ di spese che devo affrontare in questi mesi e un volo intercontinentale era assolutamente l’ultima cosa che avrei potuto immaginare. Sono davvero disperato perché a rischio non c’è solo il mio futuro ma anche la mia indipendenza dalla mia famiglia abusiva. Ho davvero bisogno di questa laurea; l’anno scorso mi sono impegnato nonostante la mia salute mentale fragile/decimata, senza accesso a uno psichiatra o aiuto di qualsiasi tipo. Ho dato tutti gli esami a parte questo, rimasto perché 4 esami su 5 da dare in 2 settimane è stato più un miracolo che altro. Perdere questa laurea non solo sarebbe una sconfitta ma mi metterebbe anche davanti alla realtà/possibilità che mi toccherebbe tornare a vivere con la mia famiglia ancora una volta. Commissionandomi o donando un ko-fi mi aiutereste un sacco a sotenere queste spese.
