I'm the new version of between Boomer & X (1960s child Boomer). I've always seen through her & have held my nose to keep the Repubs from taking the seat because of the larger need to take/hold the Senate. She needs to be primaried. She doesn't know how to operate against authoritarianism. Period.

Two things can be true. She's not built for this time & doesn't have a clue how to fight authoritarianism here at home. So, she collaborates with Graham like it's still the Senate of 2007 - on this performative bill. Trump will never sign it & Putin will never return the children. Period.

And what's hers? This is performative at best. Even if it passes & goes to Trump's desk, he won't sign it. And if he would, Putin would never comply. In the meantime, the country is falling apart & this is what she's spending her time on - with Graham.

This is who she is - & has always been. Her track record is two decades long now. She overwhelmingly cosponsors legislation with Repubs - on things that are performative like this - or that move the needle ever so slightly for farmers & veterans. She's not built for this time of authoritarianism.

She needs to be primaried at this point. She doesn't know how to fight authoritarianism right here at home. This is who she is. She only knows how to work on bipartisan legislation - that usually accomplishes little to nothing in this case. If this was even signed by Trump, Putin will never comply.

She unfortunately thinks the Senate she walked into nearly 2 decades ago is still around. But McConnell killed off bipartisanship. She's not built for this time. You can't compromise with authoritarians. Plus this will accomplish nothing. Putin will never agree to this & Trump will side with him.

When in the hell are you going to work with Dems on economic & social justice issues. You ONLY work with Repubs in writing legislation. It's tired & just doesn't cut it anymore.
