Now now don't be cynical. First time hes been in a debate for years, obviously putting sholder to the wheel at this difficult time. He's there for the right reasons and it has nothing to do with an upcoming presidential election

The clear danger here is Trump Putin have very similar personalities and expansionist ambitions. This is looking like a second running of the 18/19th century's "The Great Game". Opens the door for China's Taiwan ambitions too. Are my alarmist? or are we a generation that can't recognise war clouds?

The green party policy of electrifying everything was never going to work. Yes their are areas such as medium range vehicles and low temp heating where it can make an impact. But they ignored the successful tech used by other countries, woodfuels, district heating and biofuels.
