Yes. It’s very sad & discouraging. He has doubled down after being exposed, unfortunately like all the other pastors who get caught seem to do.

A 45 yo married man having a young student sit in his lap, hold her hand, asking her to call him “daddy”…yeah, that’s grooming, sexual & abusive. The boldness with which he carried this out suggests he’s done it before & probably since.

The confrontation of Hayley was a like a scene of out ‘Mean Girls’. Glad she got out of there quickly. So many high control churches engage in these secret pile-on tactics.

He’s been featured in Wartburg Watch blog many times. I’ve yet to see any comments from other bloggers regarding this situation. I have since found out that Brent mainly supports himself from donations on his blog, which explains why he moved into the basement of a financial supporter.

There are many of us who were grateful for his work in exposing the coverup of CSA at Sovereign Grace Ministries. This comes as a shock that someone who appeared to be an advocate for the abused, is engaged in what might be an abusive relationship (he still preaches, but does not pastor a church)
