gameplay, mostly. my replays almost always amount to "i rushed through this game to experience the story as soon as possible so now i'm going to actually take my time and enjoy the gameplay" (mostly applies to persona, mgs, and the yakuza games)

go for it. older cabs are becoming a rarity nowadays; we're only a few years away from these becoming priceless. even if you never get to use it, get it; best case scenario you can mod Stepmania onto it or run arcade data
