I had a black lab who used to do this whenever he found a mud puddle. No problem in summer when I could hose him off in the backyard. Winters were harder because we had to go through the house to get into the shower! Miss him every day.

I don't think they misunderstood. I think they used AI to search for specific words and no one double checked - they just started canceling things. I agree it would have been canceled for the DEI component eventually, anyway, but this is part of the "move fast and break things" philosophy.
