Research shows that areas near casinos face higher rates of gambling addiction, especially among young people. Sands knows their planned casino will be near 60,000 students in nearby schools, yet they press on.

The mission of the Say No to the Casino Civic Association is to prevent the development of a casino at the Nassau Coliseum. We believe that a massive casino complex in the heart of Nassau County will forever change the character of the local communities and cause multiple economic and social harms.

This casino would be the 2nd largest in the country. With it comes more crime, addiction, & traffic nightmares from an estimated 10 million visitors each year. It would also worsen our already stressed water supply! It is not a done deal! linktr.ee/nocasinonassau to connect with us! #NassauCountyNY
