I managed to get a sharp photo of a CAT with a manual-focus lens set at f/1.2 and I feel like I should get some kind of prize or at least a commemorative plaque or something??

I got a new lens and she’s really pretty!! Made in 1963 but looks brand new—and she’s super sharp. Yay!

Wow, I forgot how much I love shooting with FILM! Tested out my Photomic FTn with a roll of UltraMax 400 and I’m delighted to report it works FLAWLESSLY! Even the meter is accurate—I thought for sure it would be off a little but it’s somehow remarkably accurate?! It’s over fifty years old!
