Yeah I doubt we’ll see the spinoffs.
I think 12 will be for 2027 probably, I think they’ll want at least a year to lead up to it (once full marketing begins).
The usual Fall release for this year might get filled out by a new spinoff or an 8 remaster I think.

Toei does a lot of good with adding dramatics to the first three Tenkaichi Budokai.
In the manga, it just goes from fight to fight to fight, with no real breaks like this- because it's not necessary. The big interesting guy is Jackie Chun, not this dinosaur man.

Addendum: to be clear, I mean that Brennan's interest in a lot of that deeper culture was rooted in /r9k/'s removal, and was likely ultimately why he advertised 8ch the way he did come 2013/14.

And GG was the fault of co-opting by various sources. The big one is Bannon + Milo over at Breitbart, but so many people hooked into it, and it really was the inciting incident for a lot of grifter accounts today because of how people profited off of GG.
