An early-morning house fire has sent two people to hospital. Their injuries were not believed at the time to be life-threatening. It was the second fire to which SJRFD responded in less than twelve hours.

One person was taken to hospital following a collision at Rawlins Cross early Saturday afternoon. The crash caused significant damage to two vehicles and caused traffic detours until the scene could be cleared.

Heads up if you regularly drive from Commonwealth Avenue to Robert E Howlett, Pitts Memorial Drive, Heavy Tree Road, and surrounding area. A road closure will start Monday and last approximately six weeks.
