I think the tanking/insider betting thing is going to be nothing. The rigged poker games is something, but it is going to be tough to pin anything serious on billups. That doesn’t change the fact he was involved in the scheme though, just tough to proove

I think he cares. He is defending way harder than past, which imho shows care. His offense looks bad because he keeps pulling up from 18, then bricking. The last few seasons were mandated rim or three, so I think he is exploring the midrange. Either he starts hitting or he gets back to attacking

I would not be surprised. He was really, really bad, and now he is finally showing some signs of improvement. Adding better players and better asstnts should produce better results. But, there are a number of things about him that I’m not down with, and I dunno if winning would ever change my mind

I understand, but some of his lineups are insane. So, did mgmt order him to lose? Or is he really that terrible? I always laugh whenever Nate B grabs a better player off the bench. To me, that signals Billups is bad at ingame stategy. I agree the DNPs for injury are mgmt forcing a tankjob

He ranks among Raymond Felton and Ruben Paterson as my least favorite Blazers of all time, but I admit he’s gotten better, mostly from hiring competent assistants, but it is something at least. The players are extremely loyal to him, which is not normal in the NBA, so there is something unique there
