Issues are that it is not in the middle of the countryside, it is far too near homes & primary school, the main A5 road & surrounding roads cannot take increased volume of HGVs, health issues from dust, there are questions over actual demand for the limestone for building & quality of the stone etc

Limestone, but there will also be a recycling plant onsite for recycling inert building and construction waste and also mention of a ready mix concrete plant. It's less than 300m from a new housing estate. Worries are silica in dust, traffic (110 truck movements a day), noise & wildlife impact.

I can see them being very useful if not used in a malicious manner.
But you are most certainly correct, it’s not worth wondering how you got on a list. Chances are in my case, I don’t want to know this person, so trash takes itself out 🤷🏻‍♀️
