Raised beds are built. Left room for more container veggies, flowers, a key compost pilot and a greenhouse with this design... And look at that coop/run coming along behind the shed!

Found out today that BABs, who found us 18 months or so ago when he was about a year old, has a heart murmur. Common in Siamese cats, but usually when they are older. We are taking reasonable and appropriate next steps for this goofball (who will likely outlive us all).

So glad I renewed my subscription to the news outlet that refers to weather as a "cold blob of air." Can't wait to see what other stellar journalism comes my way!
After a half-month hiatus, frigid air will again surge across the United States beginning this weekend through next week, as the unusually cold blob of air dips southward, covering various parts of the country by Tuesday.
