Just observing here mostly.
Nollaig Bheag here in the Donegal gaeltacht. I'd never heard of Nollaig na mBan until I met my Cork born and reared wife.

So I hear. That's the cost of freedom I suppose! 😉

Thanks for your reply. I don't think any of those scenarios apply in my case, but I'll have to get over my financial inertia and check it out. Bliain úr mhaith duit.

We don't know each other, but anyway, here we are. I just don't understand why I'm being asked to complete a tax return when I've been a PAYE employee in the same company for 2 decades.

Is it a difficult process, or is it just my aversion to thinking about those things that is the difficulty?

Things have gone downhill badly since then. 🙁

That's one of the few songs that I've instantly liked, so thanks for sharing. I'd never heard of him until now.

Aside from the fact that this is slave labour, what he's saying doesn't make sense. If two days are removed from the sentence for every day worked, isn't that three days served for every day worked?

I'd completely forgotten that people used to display Easter Eggs in their window. I didn't even think it was weird at the time.

Good for you Ben. Keep it up! My young nephew who also has autism is full of love and generosity to everyone. He inspires those around him, as do you.

Have to admit that I was taken aback by how bad Sky News Australia is when I came across some videos on YT. It seems like its pretty much the same as Fox News.

First time I visited the Algarve was soon after the financial crisis in the 00s. It really struck me how good even the rural road network was in comparison to here in Ireland, and we'd supposedly gone through a boom while Portugal had been comparatively poor. Similar problems to the UK I'd imagine.

It's a regular in my rotation. Definitely a very unique beer based on my own limited experience. The Crossroads American IPA has won me over in the long run though.

Bit of a Scarfolk Council vibe off that.

Good to see you back posting Mark. Missed you when you left the other place.

Your video came up on my YT feed last night and I watched some of it (will watch in full later). I'll be visiting Lanzarote for the first time soon, so it was good to get an idea of what landscape to expect.

That's pretty good for draught beer. You'd barely get anything decent in an off licence at those prices.
