I'm not sure what an LNG enthusiast is. I'm in favor of a system in which the private sector is able to invest based on their estimates at the time. Should those investments not work out, that's the risk they take. Not up to me, or the government. Regardless, site remediation takes place after.

COP was never going to do anything. Technology and real shifts in demand and product substitutions that make a difference. And its not going to be easy because fossil fuels work so well for many products, not just transport fuels. Adaptation is a better short term strategy

Ridiculous. Lots of older people would love to walk, ride a bike, or take a bus. A car is just one way not the only way.
