Why a market failure? Are there enough customers who would exclusively use this LLM to justify the much higher cost and smaller data set needed for training?
To be clear, I think future training will move to licensed data for a range of liability reasons but, at this stage it’s not a market failure

A few weeks ago I was in a conversation here about accessibility in software and I made the banal point that sometimes you might have to prioritize something over accessibility work like, say, fixing a vulnerability that would leak people’s PII.

Yeah. It changed a few weeks ago. Moved the “promoted” which was left aligned at the bottom of the tweet where your eye is scanning to that two letter “Ad” in the top right where there’s no other info you ever look at so you won’t notice. It’s a crafty dark pattern.

And congrats to Kingston, NY that last week passed some great new zoning rules that included legalizing ADUs, multifamily & infill housing, and *eliminating parking requirements*!

I had similar concerns about the breaking of E2E even on the less secure systems. Would definitely not connect Signal to it. I feel like doing that would just hurt Moxie Marlinspike's soul too much...

I’m completely sympathetic with the WGA but if every single member of the WGA quit Netflix it would be only 0.005% of Netflix’s subscriber base.
If you could get SAG onboard you might get to numbers that they would notice but on its own I’m not sure this is the strongest pressure point?
