The Dodgers just swept the Padres and take a 2-game series lead in the NL West.

They've gone 8-2 against the Padres this season.

Three days ago it looked like the sky was falling in LA. Suddenly, they're back in prime position to win the NL West for the 12th time in 13 years.

The Dodgers beat the Padres, 3-2, to tie up the NL West (LA holds the tiebreaker as they're 6-2 vs SD this year).

Clayton Kershaw allowed one run over six innings. Teoscar Hernandez gave LA a huge insurance run with a homer.

Alexis Diaz got two big outs in the 9th. Jack Dreyer got the save.
