I’ve seen coordinated calling campaigns work first hand at getting legislators to introduce/change/pull/cosponsor legislation. It’s a long shot, but it’s the best we can do until Newsom gets replaced by a Governor who’s actually interested in helping Californians.

The intern will record your request in a spreadsheet with all the other calls this month, a senior staffer will review the spreadsheet and bring the calls to the legislator’s attention if there’s enough demand

An intern will answer the phone, be respectful and request the legislator pursue a veto override of SB 90 (insulin cap), SB 58 (psychedelic decriminalization), AB 309 (social housing), SB 799 (UI for striking workers), & SB 635 (hearing aids).
