When armed authority turns on the people in the name of “order,” history remembers it not as security, but as repression.

From the streets of colonial Boston to today’s aggressive ICE raids, the lesson is the same. When dissent is met with unchecked force—liberty erodes.

Celebrating leaders for extraordinary achievements is one thing. But when our political imagery starts to echo the propaganda style of fascist regimes, it’s worrying. Strong democracies don’t center leaders — they center people.

When the redactions say more than the text ever could.
The image is a political cartoon drawn in a simple, graphic style. At the center is a tilted sheet of paper, like a government document, labeled at the top “Epstein (Redacted)” with a page number, “page 22987.” The page is filled mostly with thick black redaction bars, the kind used to censor documents. Between the black bars, a few unredacted words remain visible, arranged so that when read from top to bottom they form a sentence: “No one has ever seen anyone more innocent than Trump.” The implication is that the sentence was revealed accidentally through heavy redaction, suggesting sarcasm or irony rather than sincerity.
