I have always stressed the importance of voting Democratic in a 2 party system. But the party is failing so badly to respond let alone to lead on today’s issues that I now agree with my children that the party needs major reforms or it needs to go the way of the Whigs

Or the real welfare fraudster like Rick Scott who got re-elected after the charges were made

Sure. Start with us, but when Gillibrand is choosing your senate candidates the chance of a Sinema or similar goes way up. We have the equivalent of Lieberman leading the party

Somehow even when we win we never have enough votes. It’s hard to create change when your leaders are committed to the status quo. A small group on the right has managed to overcome their minority to take full power by being strategic and committed to their ends. We have nothing close to comparable

Then why isn’t model legislation being drafted to be introduced at the first possible chance. Works for the Koch brothers. This is why we don’t win

@foushee.house.gov why aren’t you one of these congresspeople. You want to go back but what have you accomplished?

Good. They deserve to be irked. Either that or go extinct

Terrifying

Halle for president
December 5, 2025 at 1:19 PM
Good luck with that when Gillibrand is the one in charge

Case in point:
Obama stood in front of the American people and said “we tortured some people, folks”. He collectivized the responsibility over holding war criminals to account. It why we are here now on the eve of another fake oil war

They could be correct.

And everyone is still sticking with Schumer until after 2026? Completely predicted. And we all will suffer for it

Any thoughts on the take (Phillip Bump) that because there was no public declaration on war until after the boat bombings became public, and this was the first such bombing, the victims could not possibly have understood they were in a war zone.

Defeat from the jaws of victory. A distraction from doing nothing because the leaders are too weak and gullible? And incomprehensible? We need effective communication to win. Schumer wins when we lose.

Pardon incoming

This is what is wrong with centrist triangulation a la Newsom and others. You lose the ability to speak coherently and persuasively on larger issues that should be easy. Why does the right have “where we go one we go all”. That should be the rallying cry for the left

This is so last decade. This Supreme Court could do anything at all. To expect otherwise is just naive

I want to ask why Kara Swisher is touring the country with him. His vision is antithetical to her existence
