We can see in TWJ that Lucanis forms connections. He makes friends. He didn't often partake in the nightlife, per his ambient dialogue in Minrathous, but that doesn't mean he never spent time with people.
He was a workaholic, yes, but he still had a whole active life that could include sex or not.
