‘The older I’ve got the more I’ve understood that the quality of people in my life is far more important than the quantity’
Red Rum could run.
But he couldn’t referee.
😂

A fact which highlights how low the bar is now set.
January 14, 2026 at 1:08 PM
The decision is a subjective one.
It could be argued one way or another.

I’m highlighting how dreadful the refereeing team was again.
Five and a half minutes waiting for a decision to be reached is totally unacceptable.
January 14, 2026 at 1:05 PM
If he had cautioned earlier in the game he wouldn’t have had the problems he got later.
Absolutely clueless referee.
If he’s FIFA quality, God help us.

As for Attwell on VAR.
There are no words to describe how bad he is.
Five and a half minutes then still can’t make up his mind.

How many fouls is Kavanagh going to let go before he gets his cards out?

He is 💩

Most managers were sound mate.
A few played up for the cameras and the crowd, but overall they were just trying to win.

There were some exceptions though!
January 11, 2026 at 8:10 AM
He was just really grumpy 😂
January 10, 2026 at 8:02 AM
I never had crossed words with him but I know some of the others did.
January 9, 2026 at 5:08 PM
No mate.
Robson was class.
Keegan was a hero!
Shearer never bothered us.
January 9, 2026 at 11:05 AM
Only had one ‘go’ with Fergie. We got on like a house on fire after that. I think he used to like testing refs to see who would crumble.
Worst one was Wenger.
He told lies about a conversation I had with him. Lost all respect for him after that.
Had a cracking row with David O’Leary at Villa.
😂
January 8, 2026 at 10:18 PM
He wasn’t the worst, by any means mate, but he certainly had his moments.
I only had one nose-to-nose with him.
We were fine after that.
January 8, 2026 at 4:46 PM
Don’t fall for the myth that Guardiola is a genius.

He’s a cheque book manager.

Bang average and a cheat.
January 4, 2026 at 8:26 PM
Wishing you and yours a very Happy Christmas too, mate 🎅🏻
December 23, 2025 at 7:49 PM
Both are awful referees, Ken
December 23, 2025 at 6:21 PM
I was there mate.
It was absolutely dreadful.
December 17, 2025 at 8:18 AM
We can’t win it now, Eamonn.
And City are losing too many as well.
If Arsenal don’t win it this season they never will.
It’s theirs to lose now.
November 23, 2025 at 1:46 PM
I can genuinely say I wasn’t bothered about us signing him.
We already had Ekitike.
Plus, as you say, his attitude is poor.
Coutinho did the same thing to us so I have enormous sympathy with the Toon fans.
November 23, 2025 at 1:45 PM
Made enough chances to win it early on but didn’t take them.
I’ve seen jelly settle faster than Isak is doing. He needs to step up.
So does Konate in defence. He’s been really poor since the Madrid speculation started.
Slot will get them sorted in the end.
He took us to the title last season.

Excellent interview with thst 🤡 from Reform, Rachel.

You showed him up for what he is…all shouting and no substance
👏🏻👏🏻
November 18, 2025 at 8:14 AM
I used to think it was simply incompetence, mate.

Now, I’m not so sure it doesn’t go beyond that.
November 14, 2025 at 6:32 AM
…and why Manc referees are consistently appointed to referee Manc matches.
It never used to be allowed.

Remember Mike Dean being taken off the FA Cup Final because Liverpool were playing in it? (and he actually lives in the Wirral, not Liverpool)
November 10, 2025 at 2:46 PM
It was at that point I turned it off.

Dreadful decision.
November 10, 2025 at 7:01 AM
I’m pleased the refereeing of the City v Liverpool was as appalling as it was.
It meant I turned over to the F1 instead.
Fantastic race for 2nd place 🏎️
