An indie games developer designing miniature agnostic skirmish games with settings that range from Ancient Greece to a variety of post-apocalyptic locales.
I think it's a combination of 1) no one plays CoC around me and 2) at least for v1, the CoC rules very much felt like they had "the DBA problem", where you'd have to play CoC against someone who already knew how to play CoC to learn the rules.

Among other things.

I have been trying to get into the 2FL games for years and every time I bounce off them. Not sure why.

That being said, I'd be curious for recommendations from y'all: what are some of your favorite "setting-heavy" wargames?

I love that!

What are some good tips on how to do this? Especially as someone who struggles with social media.

I feel like this is inherently enforced by wargames themselves - like, you can look at a D&D character sheet and mostly muddle your way through playing, whereas in a (miniatures, at least) wargame, you _need_ to learn the rules or you ain't playing the game.

I'd also argue that it depends on what wargames you're playing - e.g. something like "Crossfire" (and my own "Eleven Bravo" as a descendant) doesn't have designated player turns - players swap initiative based on actions and reactions.

I just realized you're the guy who does the Lost Shores stuff - the Oracle set has been on my list for use on a DEMIGOD board for months!
