Trump promises to bring back Columbus Day. (Another promise he can’t keep.) There’s a reason he isn’t celebrated anymore. He never set foot on North America. He enslaved more than a thousand people, and tortured, maimed and killed thousands more. And introduced smallpox to every place he looted.
