поки що готові 6 ілюстрацій з українськими духами природи, через місяць почну працювати над ще шістьма з чортами. Джерело для проєкту - "Нарис української міфології" Володимира Гнатюка.

Polyovyk is a field spirit. It can only be seen in its true form when it's sleeping (as shown in the illustration), and only by an unbaptised person. Otherwise Polyovyk presents itself as any kinde of animal that lives in the fields.

Lisun – shepherd of wolves, a nature spirit. On the night before Yuriy's day he gathers all wolves and feeds them with magic bread.
Once Lisun gave a piece of that bread to a poor man, and he was never hungry since: the bread was regrowing itself and could be eaten forever.

Lisovyk is a forest spirit, shepherd of the animals. Usually imagined as an old man with forest features, but at one instance was described as a “white chort", who celebrates Ivan Kupalo night, and that's how I depicted him here, with a fern flower.
