Today's work social media post was pretty low effort on my part, but these are 3 novels I'm looking forward to. After eagerly anticipating and then thoroughly enjoying Rebecca Yarros' Onyx Storm, here are 3 more big releases I'm waiting for.
What are you all waiting for this year?

Library geeks: an acquaintance at a niche research library sent me this and asked what the weird stuff after the LC classes are. I said “dunno, custom cutter numbers?” What do you brilliant polymaths think?

The current discourse about the downfall of the literary man is supremely annoying. IMHO it's all a result of women publishing more books than men for the first time and some fragile dudes have become undone by their fear of equity.

I'm not far into Lev Grossman's The Bright Sword, but I'm LOVING it so far. TH White's The Once a Future King is already a tragedy (Le Mort d'Artur) so this doesn't have the jarring effect of what he did w/ CS Lewis in the Magicians. This novel has both a bright moral compass and a truthful eye.
