to be fair a lot of very awesome beers are like 15-20% abv (although not very refreshing, they're kinda syrupy), and there's super refreshing and light stuff you can basically chug all the way up to like 8-10%

i could definitely get drunk with that

beer is still on top though

so far my favorite from the 35%+ stuff has been gin, but rum is probably second

didn't really love vodka or whiskey or any of the greek stuff we have here (raki, tsipouro, ouzo, etc), although i'd still drink them ofc, nothing has been remotely bad so far

(just tried rum for the first time)
