Loves 80s comedies, music (80s indie boy that loves Progressive Breakbeat), nerdery. Blood donor, vegetarian, liberal dad. I am middle aged and very boring, so to avoid disappointment, do not follow me. Seriously, I rarely post anything anyway.
You gotta wonder if Zia Yusuf has a spreadsheet with a formula in it that calculates the potential Reform voter gain from admitting Braverman vs the potential Reform voter loss at admitting someone who is *not white*?

Glad I'm not the only one!

If you vote for the MP who you feel best reflects your values and opinions, and that MP then defects to a party that espouses opposite values and opinions, then the "representative democracy" contract is broken, no? It should absolutely entail giving voters a chance to change their minds.

Farage has calculated that the stigma of admitting yet another failed Tory, and a very toxic one at that, is somehow less than the value Jenrick would bring to the #Reformatives.

Not a master strategist, is he?

Reform are the "We Buy Any Car" of political parties.

Zahawi claims we "need a glorious revolution".

Not sure how a grifting, workshy ex-metals trader, his posh but dim chancer mate, and a crowd of failed Tories are poised to deliver this glorious revolution?

Especially when their policies seem to consist of "Slavishly copy what Trump has tried".

Jesus, Farage looks like a re-animated corpse in that picture; surprisingly apt for the toad faced shit weasel.

Who knows. 6 days into 2026 and we're well and truly through the looking glass already.

If the US did occupy Greenland, NATO in its present form ends, but should quickly coalesce a new alignment to deter Putin from an opportunistic attack on the baltics. We should be watching Russia closely.

That would put Starmer in quite a pickle: the US, the largest NATO member, attacking another NATO member from yet another NATO member. That's literally Putin's wet dream.

Not one mention of Vini Reilly of The Durutti Column: under-appreciated genius who John Frusciante described as "the best guitarist in the world".

Maybe consider iBroadcast: it's a streaming service you populate with your own library, so you can listen *anywhere*. It's free, or if you can pay it's only a few $ a month to be a "supporter". Not a shill, genuinely appreciate the service as an avid CD buyer still.

At Virgin we would generally relax the receipt rule after Xmas and allow exchanges. This meant people trying to return crappy old CDs clearly bought a decade or more previously claiming it was "received as a gift". No time for love, Dr Jones.

Surely this means Badenoch will have to deport herself if she's found to have committed a crime at some future point?

Has enough money to truly transform the world, but opts for an AI that gives him an ego wank instead.

"Nigel Farage's Big Tent" sounds like a @vizcomic.bsky.social character & strip waiting to happen.

"Adventures of Pete & Pete" on Nickelodeon, when I was in my mid 20s.

That's just a talking point the Leavers use to dissuade rejoining. I suspect most people have zero problems with the terms every other country enjoys.

I reckon Jenrick could stop Reform.

By taking the Tory helm when Badenoch is inevitably dispatched back to obscurity and capitulating to Farage, offering him the Tory party in a mistaken belief he'd be "saving it" somehow.

By that point, most of Reform would be disgruntled ex-tories anyway.

Jenrick applying for the position of "Captain of the Titanic" I see.
