Mom asked me to paint her a bowl of fruit for the kitchen, so I’m surprising her for Christmas (she thinks I’m working on another painting). Hopefully I can get it done this weekend, but I’ve never painted anything like this before and the flowers are kicking my ass.

Finally finished the piece I started back in May. Looking forward to starting a new one next week.

Took Sunday and Monday off from painting to game, then took a break from gaming today to paint. I really need to learn how to do water reflections. 🤦♀️

Since I have free time for what feels like the first time in my life, I’ve decided to take up painting. Here’s my first ever painting as an adult (I think I painted something in high school, but that was decades ago). Thank you YouTube painters for the tips and inspiration.
