Mobile Fighter G Gundam
This show kicks ass. Its one of those anime that I think everybody should watch. Not only has Domon become one of my favorite protagonists, the whole cast is stellar. It can be a bit messy at times for sure, but man this show is a great ride.

Mobile Fighter G Gundam
This show kicks ass. Its one of those anime that I think everybody should watch. Not only has Domon become one of my favorite protagonists, the whole cast is stellar. It can be a bit messy at times for sure, but man this show is a great ride.

My personal Anime of the Season. Everything from the story, characters, world, animation, and music are all spectacular. I only wish we would get more magic, as it wasn't used all that much so far. Really REALLY hoping for a Season 2.

Secrets of the Silent Witch
My personal Anime of the Season. Everything from the story, characters, world, animation, and music are all spectacular. I only wish we would get more magic, as it wasn't used all that much so far. Really REALLY hoping for a Season 2.

I was pretty salty when this show first started since it was advertised as a bowling anime... then it turns out its a time-travel isekai to the Warring States-period.
...I'm still salty about it but its charming and the character writing is pretty good.

I went into this expecting some edgy garbage but was surprised to find a genuinely solid dark fantasy. Clen and Alicia are a fun duo and what at first seems like a simple fantasy world teases so much more underneath the surface. I can't wait for Season 2!

CITY THE ANIMATION
An absolutely gorgeous surreal comedy by the same creator and studio behind Nichijou. Its weird, colorful, hilarious, and can be surprisingly heartfelt. I personally prefer Nichijou, but "2nd funniest anime" is still pretty high praise.

Finally finished Fate/Stay Night. Truly spectacular, but between it, Tsukihime Remake, and Mahoyo its probably my least favorite Type-Moon VN (though not by much). Route ranking is:

My problems with March and Evernight aside, I do really like the climax. March showing Evernight her memories was great, and her finally reuniting with her friends was very sweet. I got my problems with this patch, but emotional beats like this really hit when they’re supposed to.

I’ve personally never been a big fan of March as a character due to her not really contributing significantly to the story very much, but I was ready for this patch to finally change that. Unfortunately, that didn’t really happen here.

My issues with the patch begin with Evernight. Her intervening at this stage feels like a weird detour from the main plot involving Lygus. All the new lore that we got out of it is important, sure, but I feel like Evernight wasn’t necessary for it all to be revealed.

First, the good. Pretty much everything involving Dan Heng is excellent. DH has always been the most well-written original character in the AE crew and that stays true here. His side of the story caps off his arc extremely well and gives us a good look at his history from Dan Feng’s perspective.

Despite all of this, I am looking forward to seeing what's next. I'm surprised that we supposedly still have a few patches left of Amphoreus considering it *really* feels like we are in the endgame so here's hoping the final chapters stick the landing!

Character-wise, Hysilens is great and quickly became one of my favorite Amphoreus characters. I don't really like Cerydra much but shes an interesting enough addition to the cast that I don't hate her.
Don't have any strong feelings about Cyrene yet but its cool she's tagging along I guess?

HSR 3.5 was solid for the most part. Its decently paced, has some neat little twists, and the Lygus fight (and the way he is being dealt with in-story) is good fun.

HSR 3.3 was… also alright. Things have escalated and we got some neat reveals. Unfortunately, Hyacine remains the most uninteresting character in this arc by far due to there really just not being much to her character. Cipher got way less screen time than her and she still felt more fleshed out.

HI3 Part 2 Chapter 8 cements Helia as my favorite character in Part 2 so far. This chapter was fantastic and reminds me why I love this game so much.
