The bill sucks but you can still vote by mail. Beginning in January 2029 you will have to request that a ballot be mailed to you. That request is good for 8 years.

You will still be able to mail in your ballot. BUT for elections in 2029 and thereafter, you will need to request that your ballot be mailed to you. And you have to renew that request every 8 years. There will be an online system to request that your ballot be mailed to you.

I can’t find where the SAVE act has passed the House. There is HR 22 and there is also S 128. Neither has been passed by either chamber.
