Went to bed and was thinking that yesterday was the first day I didn’t tear up thinking about Blazey. Then I remembered my crew brought me a diabetes package and it reset my counter to 0 days since crying over my dog.

At 1:30 last night, I lost my good buddy. Blaze, you were the best pup. Im going to miss you so very much. Thanks for all of the love you shared with us over the last 10 years.

I got home after spending time with my sister. Was holding it together for her. But the second I saw my boys, I lost it. They let me hug them, a rare teenager thing, and they knew I needed them in that moment. I hate they saw me like that. But I’m also glad they did. I’m so lucky to have them.

16 hour day yesterday. Back opening the shop today and getting 2 caterings ready. Then I’m done. First week since opening my store without my kitchen manager. Been an adjustment but it’s nice to be back in the thick of things. Been a busy 2 days for sure!

Chachos ended the day 167% up in net sales from the same day last week. Damn we really needed that. But in reality, it doesn’t even need to be that crazy. I’ll take it. But if we could be steady…we’d be doing some good shit.
