How does a woman in the UK go about getting her GP to take her chronic pain seriously and not be accused of drug seeking or dramatics?

I just want to be able to function enough to take my kid to the park.

American style pancakes with a brown sugar, apple jam

I did also try and make a peppermint whipped cream (I'm hyperfixated on peppermint baking atm) but for some reason it tasted like grass?

I need to work on plating but it tasted absolutely delicious!

I baked today! Had a rough week of chronic flare ups, but yesterday and today it eased off.

I've been categorising transactions.... These are my most used categories for Nov-now.
I shouldn't read into that right? 🤣

I adopted an 18 year old cat. He's full of love and just wants to be close to someone all the time (he was mistreated for a long time).

But logically, I know we won't have long with him... Is it awful that I've been planning how I will memorialise him? As in picking out urns? He deserves the best

I bought a new bar of soap. It's edges are to pointy and makes my neurospicy brain want to drop my hands like gecko tails.

Would it be outrageous to shave the edges into smooth/rounded edges?

Went thrifting today to pick up some stuff for the house.
Found these guys tucked at the back of a shelf... It felt weird leaving such a lovely family to gather dust, so I adopted them.

I finished this yesterday and immediately pre ordered the second book.

I absolutely loved this, the pacing was perfect, it had intrigue and mystery but non in a convoluted/confusing way and most importantly, it kept my easily distracted, ADHD brain interested!

10/10 would recommend! 💙📚
