a lot of square’s artists drew for the collab so why wouldn’t nomura draw too, I want KH4 as much as next guy but you don’t need to cry about him doing a harmless sephiroth illustration, what does that have to do with anything 😭😭?

nomura drew sephiroth art for the FF X MTG collab and I saw KH fans crying about FF7 favouritism, like I get where you’re coming from but there’s literally no correlation

my console history is pretty unorthodox, I’m only 20 so my first home console was a PS3 slim funnily enough and my family got the other 7th gen systems later

late reply, but I agree, in search of is a lot safer and more sterile but that’s not necessarily a bad thing, I think it’s the best execution of the Neptune’s 1999-2003 sound, glad fly or die and seeing sounds refined it and evolved it

turn based rpgs are respected and in high demand, just because 7R/16 are action RPGs doesn’t mean the genres is dead, and if we’re talking square enix specifically they’ve put out way more turn based stuff that real time action RPGs in the 2020s, please just find and play things you enjoy

idk why people need so much validation about turn based rpgs when games like metaphor and infinite wealth were critically acclaimed and the fastest selling games in their respective franchises history, not to mention the juggernaut that was baldurs gate 3
