Journalists should be the first to safeguard the quality of the news. Unfortunately it seems that media companies start using the arguments SM platforms were using all those years: "we are not responsible for the quality, it is up to the reader to check and decide" www.niemanlab.org/2025/12/poli...

"The bloc has traded its role as global tech cop for a ticket to the AI race". It should not be just a ticket, but an opportunity to reset. It is impressive how quickly war related topics became the norm for Europeans and they do not even sock anymore. We were late in realising the danger. Hard dilemmas ahead for Europeans collectively and for each country.

I'm amazed at how the country we were always considering as an example of democracy and freedom hits a new low every day. Just remember this next time you go voting to "protest" without thinking the implications your vote might have.
