We then used this reconstruction to study the spatial distribution of transcription factors that determine neuronal identity. The atlas allows us to predict how these genes may be regulated by spatial and temporal pattering.

After reconstructing the structure, we verified the expression of different marker genes and confirmed that it predicted their expression accurately.
