Yeah heard about this on the Vergecast and they had thoughts on the lanyard style as well. If that’s it, it seems nuts that Ive of all people made something so boring.

Been saying this for years but “gamer” chairs writ large are a scam. You can get a similar quality chair for cheaper or a much better one for the same price.
I’ve had a mesh office chair from Staples (US office store) for years after trying multiple “gaming” chairs I sold.
