Unreal Editor ProTip: Theme > Title colour

If you have multiple versions of @unrealengine.bsky.social installed, for example UE 5.6 and testing the new UE 5.7, then you can duplicate the default Theme and edit the Title colour to very quickly and easily differentiate between versions.

B2FP feels like a magic trick every time but my patience struggles to stand still while I work through printing nearly 2500 objects into Forge.

It's taken me two years of being back in game dev to finally feel as confident in Blender for level design as I used to be in GTKRadiant. I pushed hard at the end of last year to break through the barrier and am looking forward to all the happy accidents within the flowstate of '25! Happy New Year!

Update on my latest Halo Infinite map being blocked out in Blender with the aid of the OmniStep first-person controller addon. Not quite ready to print into Forge yet but I feel it getting closer...

I woke up yesterday with an idea for Halo a map and did a quick one day blockout. Using the Blender OmniStep addon to run around the geo with Halo movement showed me the flaws in the design but I’ll keep pushing on this and today’s Sandtrap-like triangular bunker was a win.

Bounce pads, grav lifts or launchers... call them what you will but I call them FUN! In 2000 I had a vision of a CTF arena layout with a wild network of bounce and teleporter connections called "Rings of Rosie". It's cool to bring this map to a new audience in Halo Infinite.

Halo Infinite space map blockout update: 1345 objects "printed" tonight from Blender into Forge. Amazing B2FP workflow enabled by some very talented Halo community members that allows me to work fast and creatively in Blender and reap the rewards in Forge. Love it.

Bases and middle blocked out for my old Q3:Team Arena space map port into Halo Infinite via Blender. Only a few floating platforms left to build and then I can "print" the geo from Blender into Forge using the amazing B2FP community tool.

I've started a new Halo experiment in Blender to bring my old Q3:TA space map to Infinite. We played this map every lunch hour for over a year at SD back in the day. Symmetrical 2v2/4v4 CTF with lots of launchers and mid-air combat. It might not translate well into Halo but let's see...

To celebrate Halo 2's 20th anniversary, my 2-in-1 Halo Infinite map, "Delta Myth", imagines a time on Delta before the lake was flooded. A remixed Warlock arena supports all modes along with a clifftop temple from H2 for Husky Raid with great views.
