Totes agree. One of my favourite Hammer films and right up there with The Devil Rides Out. Two years before Romero’s Night of the Living Dead and a clear influence. The way Morell growls “Zombie” in the graveyard sequence still sends shivers down my spine.

Heads up, Film Fans! A new series of #ClassicMovies starts tonight at 7.00pm on #SkyArts with the usual gang discussing Hitchcock’s drop dead masterpiece, #TheThirtyNineSteps. Author John Buchan thought it was better than his novel. #DiscoveringDianeKeaton follows at 8.00pm.

Sounds a little too diverse to me. This, on the other hand, is an exemplar of holistic style and substance. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
