My entire adult life I have voted Democrat not missing a single election I could vote in in 20 years. I have attended rallies, donated money, and been a vocal supporter. No more. You have convinced me to sit out as neither party can deliver what Americans need and want.

But it is becoming prohibitively expensive!

I'm not suggesting that people don't pay for health care either through taxes and/or premiums. In fact, as someone who isn't employed I purchase a full price plan through the market place. But at least I have access and can't be denied a health insurance plan.

"ACCESS: It's tied to your job, not guaranteed for all citizens." So you're suggesting a health plan that not only ties access to having a job but employers are not required to pay any portion of the costs. Why tie it to employment?

We need to decouple health insurance from employment! And, companies decide what percentage to pay??!! How is this any better than what we have now?
