Made some gotg vol 3 groot inspired wings, and then spent several HOURS trying to reverse engineer Elytras+ to get them to FLAP!

Succeeded though, so that's pretty awesome I think 😎

I have successfully reverse engineered the Elytras+ resource pack to add in my very own elytra design that I made MONTHS ago!

This here is the sketch I did for the sword several months ago and didn't get any further with 😭

It's largely inspired by one of the swords on Hero Forge, which has been how I've pictured Daed's sword for several YEARS

Don't think I can stressed how GASSED I am about this! I made textures for the canon Daed Blade (name pending) and (with a lot of help and inspiration from @8onfire.com, @hellay.bsky.social and @snuckyy.bsky.social) got it to work with some name-changing trickery too!

A Minecraft island with 2 structures on it. One structure is a glass disc, with a hollow cylindrical room underneath it. On top of it sits a nether portal that is yet to be moved. Stage 1 (below, guardian farm) has been completed and is already filling up the small amount of storage i've set aside for it.

Stage 2 (above, island terraforming) is underway, with all the sand, clay, and dirt surround the island underwater being replaced with mud.
A guardian farm in Minecraft, designed by Cubfan, and built out of glass and all the wood types available in the vanilla game.

We officially restarted Homely a couple weeks ago and it's been so nice getting back into Minecraft - I've got some big build ideas brewing and NO idea how I'm gonna execute them, but I know they're gonna look awesome once I've got them figured out!
Daed's mushroom island, flattened at the top, with some basic farms and storage set up on the right hand side. The dirt, sand, and clay surrounding the island underwater has been replaced with mud to look dark and barren, as part of the wasteland biome I am transforming the island into.

Got to see The Living Tombstone perform live on Wednesday and it was such a blast. They put on such an incredible show and seeing everyone dressed up and hearing them all sing along was electric!

Absolutely insane to me that ebay allows this kind of shitty behaviour. While you can't technically report offers for Scalping, you can find some reason to report them as they usually offer some kind of misleading information that they *do* recognise as a reportable offense.

Mine's seen some pretty drastic changes over the years!
From left to right (timeline order): 1. "ginjafreak" - My first skin. He has purple headphones, camo cargo pants, and a half blue-half black jumper with a "GF" logo on the sleeve. 2."GinjaPixel" - (Recreated as I no longer have the file) An evolution of the first, with heavy inspiration from the Portal franchise. He still has the purple headphones and camo pants, but now wears a blue jacket over a black tee, and wears long-fall boots and has a portal gun. 3. "PixlsFTW" - The start of the scientist vibes. The jacket is white, the tshirt is blue, he's in jeans, and has orange shoes. Instead of a portal gun, there is a metallic robotic arm with wires sticking out, and he wears goggles instead of headphones. 4. "JustPixl" - The arm gets a visual upgrade, and a gauntlet is added to the other. The goggles are replaced with a visor over the right eye, and the top is now grey with primary colour stripes. 5. "Daedalus" - Similar again to the previous version, the arm receives yet another upgrade, adding a screen to match the gauntlet. An RGB badge is added to the jacket lapel, and the visor is moved to the left eye. 6. Another upgrade - Some more colour is added! The grey top is replaced with a blue and orange hoodie, and the pin on the lapel is a much softer, retrofuturistic red, yellow, and blue. The sleeve has been rolled down over the bionic arm, and the gauntlet has been redesigned to look more like a Fallout PipBoy. The shoes are now boots that have blue and orange laces, to match the recently updated eyes 7. Present-day - Skin created by @8onfire.com, Daedalus is no longer a scientist, but the Arkitect. The blue and orange hoodie has been replaced by a blue jacket with an orange Arkive logo. The bionic arm is now white, the white jacket now has grey details, and the boots are much more reminiscent of the long fall boots. Alt text done!
