Settlements everywhere. Constant humiliation and abuse of Palestinians. Towns surrounded by metal gates closed at will. The West Bank is being taken by foreigners. Oh and an ever expanding board of ambulance drivers killed on duty in Gaza.

Two days ago this young man Abdurhamman, died in Nasser Hospital, Gaza. He had been injured in an Israeli airstrike, had 60%burns, bilateral leg fractures and had lost an eye. I remember him as a kind and helpful person, with aspirations for the future, when we worked together in the same hospital.

I oppose genocide. I support #PalestineAction. I believe in non violent direct action and I have seen no evidence of terrorism by this group.

With the local team in Armenia after the 3rd transplant in 10 days at Arabkir Children’s Hospital. All patients doing well and enjoyed some lovely Artsakh ( Nagorno Karabakh) style baclava with the post round coffee. #Medsky

Two transplants done this week, with the local team in Armenia managing brilliantly. And a huge pleasure to see Laura , a young woman transplanted last year, after 7 years on dialysis- doing so well!

This is Amer, a 7 year old Palestinian in Gaza, whom I operated on last year. A bomb was dropped and he was knocked over then heard a drone. He looked ip and it shot him. His stomach was out of his chest and he had life threatening bleeding. Israel has started doing this again
