I'm sorry, I should have labeled it from the beginning as an opinion based on plot points from my point of view. Although it sounds objective, I'm really just giving my opinion and trying to reach an agreement.

The problem I see is that they deal with the interpersonal conflict between Charlie and Vaggie, but in my opinion they don't touch on the central issue of the past and the trauma that killing may have caused or the dehumanization it may have led to. (In my opinion)

Vox and Valentino, and although it's not official yet, there are signs of Husker and Angel Dust.

I'm sorry, I kept the conceited god, I kept that sketch like I did with Roo, but so far they haven't appeared.

end up being the only ones who stand by her.

When I mentioned "projection," it wasn't personal, but rather an observation about how the series itself mixes ideology and narrative. We all read from our own perspectives, and that doesn't invalidate the analysis.

he was one of the few who really responded when Charlie was at his lowest point. Neither his friends nor his father seemed to notice, and that says a lot about the character's emotional isolation. Rosie also helped her, albeit out of self-interest; the paradox is that those who benefit from her +

I was actually referring to the canonical couple in development, not the popular ships. And yes, there are issues that should be explored in greater depth as they evolve.

Regarding Alastor, I agree that he acted out of convenience, but the interesting thing is that, even with ulterior motives, +

comforted her. I don't know if I would call it outright sexism, but there is clearly a biased gender structure.

Furthermore, the series shows many more m/m couples than f/f couples, despite the fact that this series was supposed to focus more on f/f couples. It's an imbalance that's hard to ignore.

And on sexism, the criticism is still valid even if it comes from contradictory fans. Hazbin Hotel carries problematic symbolic patterns: the absolute evil Roo is female, while God is male. The only one who helps Charlie in the final battle is her father, as well as Alastor, another man, who +

Yes, some fans project that same dynamic onto alternative ships, the problem doesn't start with them: it's already in the original text. The fact that Charlastor shippers reproduce Charlie's lack of agency does not justify them, but it also does not erase the fact that the canon does the same thing+

Charlie, not by her own transformation. And if we remember her past as an exorcist—one of the best, according to some—it's hard to believe that all her murders were truly evil demons; she seems more like someone who carried out orders, even against the weakest (suicides, thieves, etc.). +

Interesting point, and I agree in part. But I feel like you're missing something key: the series itself treats Vaggie as a romantic prop. Her relationship with Charlie functions more as emotional validation than as conflict or development. Vaggie, on the other hand, is "redeemed" by being with +
