How much for one ghost cat to play fight with my cage without the risk of either of them actually clawing the other

(Even IF my dumb ass is gonna pick the hardest option every time, I still want other people to be able to enjoy the same games, man!)

Iculty DOES NOT serve that purpose, MOST games I'd say. There should be more difficulty options across more titles.

My only thought process here is like--I don't think a game dev, seeking to create a *specific experience* should feel the need to add difficulty settings if they don't want to. Sometimes, the difficulty is part of the intended experience of that piece of art.

There's a lot of games where diff--

I truly wish you the best in your fight. I had a friend survive intestinal cancer a few years ago, and watching them go through what they did hurt *me* on the sidelines--I can only imagine what you must be going through. Good luck, and I wish you strength.

As to your point about "a better place to post," I understand your feelings here--the man has cancer--but it seems to me that the above poster hates Biden, in probably the same way you and I both hate Trump.

I'd probably celebrate if Trump got cancer, to be quite honest.

and, Biden is the face of the same administration that continued to block refugees from entering the country, that supported Israel in the conflict overseas, continued tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans, cut the legs out from under more effective green initiatives, etc.

But, from my point of view as a queer, Mexican American progressive, it often felt like democratic lawmakers and even pundits would often clad themselves in progressive vernacular while continuing some of the really terrible imperial, money-grubbing, corrupt behavior of the GOP.

complicit in some of the evil shit that our country is to blame for, as the Republican party is. For example, Dems are famously more socially progressive. It was refreshing to hear a president talk about trans folk, systemic racism, and the like.

Our difference in opinion regarding the above reply may be due to a difference in perspective--from mine, I don't feel like that reply is solely blaming Biden for the issues at hand. However, I think it IS fair to say that he's representative of the Democratic party, which is largely just *as*--

and I'm not saying you're a bad person or anything by saying that you're doing whataboutism--I just want to make you aware here that this thinking is incredibly binary, and unhelpful. We can be critical of Biden without having positive opinions of the orange guy.
May 19, 2025 at 9:10 PM
this is whataboutism, friend--the same thing we accuse the right of doing to muddy the waters. In no way is the person you're responding to Pro Trump--but that doesn't mean they have any sympathy for Biden, who was complicit in the genocide in Gaza by continuing a relationship with Netanyahu.
