And tonight, from the acclaimed series "Why do I do this to myself???" we present Werewolf-Amauris. He's an air-genasi assassin, turned werewolf, who then took 3 levels of paladin to combat the madness. For plot reasons, any shape he gets changed into is always, without fail, the deepest jet black.
