I had been procrastinating for a long time! Now that I have finished my first ever paint-by-numbers projects (and I got exhausted), I'm going to take a break😂 (PS. Capybara is so cute!)

I did three sketches of mountain views (references are photos in my old books. I didn't take these photos) early this month. I have used pencils and Zebra Mildliners - lovely colours!

I bought two Pinguicula Tina plants in late spring last year. They were so cute! I really enjoyed drawing them. Unfortunately, both of the two didn't survive Taiwan's extremely humid summer.

May 2025. I didn't have a plan to do this but it turned out to be it: something/style I'd never tried before. It is a combination of hand-stitching + painting. My stitching is messy, though.

April project finished early. I tried to represent a pattern design I drew in an old sketchbook a different way. Funnily, my April drawings turned out to be another "pen-testing" project like the March one, and I even bought some new pens to do the drawings.

March project was experimental, relaxing, and fun! I have used almost all of the pens I seldom use to draw/paint these pictures.

Dec 2024 DRAWING~focusing on "views". My postcard collection and books had been the main sources I drew pictures from, and I actually did quite a few drawings from my friend Rebecca's photos (Diolch!). Some remain unfinished, because... I reached my limit and couldn't do more🙂

In August I started my second daily drawing challenge. Initially I planned to draw my Pinguicula Tina plants, cats and birds, but then the plants didn't survive the hot summer, and also, I didn't get time to find pictures of birds, so... cat theme for this time :)
