Managed to catch Comet ATLAS fortuitously through the only tiny gap in-between trees as seen from my balcony here in Melbourne. Pretty ancient Nikon D90, f/5 4”. 21:37 AEDT (58 mins past sunset) 6° above horizon, just about to enter cloud. #comet #cometc2024g3

Today I finally got to meet Glen Nagle in person after nearly 20 years of knowing each other online! He gave us an amazing tour of Canberra DSN complex. The amount of space history artefacts that Glen has been able to save, both in the visitor centre and in his archive is staggering.
